The Metropol Hotel offers the stylish and welcoming Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro Warsaw restaurant, located on the ground floor of the hotel. Decorated in soothing browns and creams, and with large black-and-white photos of jazz legends adorning the walls, it is the perfect place for Warsaw dining in total relaxation and comfort, every day between noon and midnight.

The Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro’s menu includes a good wine list and a delightful selection of starters and mains. To begin, try the fried Camembert with cranberries and mandarines, or the potato pancakes with salmon tartar, before proceeding to one of our hearty mains. Highly recommended are the pork medallions with mushroom sauce, or the much-loved and traditional Polish pierogi. The Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro’s crème brulee is delectable and offers a perfectly sweet ending to your meal. And the calorie-conscious need not fret – there are healthy pastas and salads on offer, so there is no need to sacrifice taste to your waistline.
But the eatery offers more than good food and good drink: the wide screen TVs are turned to sports, making the Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro a sports fans dream. This is a great place to kick back with some friends over a beer or three, and watch that all-important game. And with live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it offers a soothing retreat from the city bustle; sip a cocktail and enjoy the entertainment.
And of course, we have thought about our business clients, and offer a great Business Lunch between 13:00 and 16:00 during the week, which starts from 19.00 PLN. If you are an Internet junkie who needs to check your e-mail over a working lunch, then rest assured that you will lose neither time nor money: we have WIFI Internet service in the Bar & Bistro, ready to keep you connected to your world.
In the evenings, enjoy the sports, or sit at the long bar and ask for a cocktail or glass of sparkling wine. Fresh tastes great
This winter, the Metropol Hotel’s Bar & Bistro will be offering a special pasta set. Enjoy tagliatelle pasta with spinach, in a creamy cheese sauce, all topped with grated Parmesan cheese. A glass of our house wine - Adega da Serra – is included in the set price of 27 PLN. Perfect for a business lunch meeting or a romantic dinner, our pasta and wine will keep everyone happy! And if being healthy is your goal in 2012, make sure to try our freshly-squeezed orange or grapefruit juices. At just 14,50 PLN for a large glass, fresh has never tasted so good.
Business Lunch
Are you looking for a quick, tasty and delightfully varied Business Lunch, right in the city center? Then look no farther than the Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro in the Metropol Hotel. Served from 13:00-16:00, from Monday to Friday, the Bar & Bistro proudly offers two choices of set lunches. The first set has three courses (soup, main dish and dessert for 21.00 PLN), while the second is comprised of soup and a main dish for 19.00 PLN. The menu is different every day, it changes weekly, and it offers a wide range of tasty main dishes such as duck, fish, beef and pasta. So drop by often – and enjoy our ever-changing Business Lunch sets!
Breakfasts
The Bar & Bistro opens earlier, and offers a great breakfast buffet consisting of fruit and meats and cheeses, an extensive selection of breads and pastries, and several hot options, including eggs, bacon, sauces and vegetables. Choose from juice, tea, or coffee, and make sure to sample the tiny apricot-stuffed croissants to finish your breakfast.

New menu
The Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro’s new menu beautifully combines traditional Polish dishes with classic favourites – and tops it off with a great wine list and hard-to-resist desserts.
To begin, try the fried Camembert with cranberries and mandarin oranges, or one of our seafood cocktails – the mussel cocktail in spicy salsa is a fiery taste sensation or sour soup ”Żurek” with cream served in bread. Our mains are varied: the calorie-conscious will enjoy the smoked goose breast salad or the pasta with spinach, while our hungrier guests will love the pizzas, our catfish in cream sauce, and the roast duck with apples or T-Bone steak with herb butter served with sweet corn with peas and chips. And do be sure to try the chocolate mousse or apple pie with ice cream and vanilla sauce – it’s sinfully delectable!
Tuesday's concerts
Drop by the Metropol Hotel’s Metro Jazz Bar & Bistro, where the night is alive with music. Every Tuesday from 20:00, our Jazz Quartet performs jazz standards on the piano, sax and guitar. Enjoy our singer's warm and sultry tones whilst relaxing over a drink with friends, colleagues, or a date.
